Leederville and Mount Hawthorn's Award-Winning Practice
IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION
The doctors are happy to see patients in the practice with respiratory symptoms, however, we ask anyone with respiratory symptoms to please complete a RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) within an hour of attending the practice. Please call on arrival and let us know you are here, please wait outside until the doctor is ready to see you. This helps minimise risk for any patients in the waiting room.
BEFORE YOU ATTEND OUR PRACTICE, PLEASE READ OUR LATEST COVID UPDATE HERE
Appointments:
Consultation is by appointment. Telephone the surgery on 9444 3700 for an appointment (or book online) and see how you can access quality healthcare in a friendly and professional environment.
Please ensure when booking an appointment on-line that you enter your name exactly as it appears on your Medicare card.
Longer Consultations:
When making your appointment, we encourage you to ask for a longer consulting time if your health issue is of a complex nature, or if you require more time as in the case of an initial workers compensation consult, a full medical examination, a mental health issue, a pap smear or other situation.
If unsure, ask the advice of reception staff who will be happy to assist.
Continuity of Care:
In the interest of continuity of care, please request your usual doctor of choice when making your appointment. We will do our best to accommodate you.
In the situation where doctors are away or are unavailable, there are other doctors in this surgery who can access your medical records for your treatment.
Emails:
Please note that we do not accept EMAILS as a means of making or cancelling appointments.
Cancellations:
If for whatever reason you no longer need or wish to re-schedule your appointment, please let us know at your earliest convenience. A minimum of two hours is requested as we can then offer the time to a waiting patient.
If you make an appointment and fail to arrive there may be a missed appointment fee of $30. This fee does not attract a Medicare rebate.

Urgent Appointments:
We strive to attend to all urgent cases and all paediatric illnesses as soon as possible on the day.
Oxford Street Medical Centre operates a daily ‘cancellation list’ for less urgent cases if the practice is fully booked on the day and will follow up and call you in the event of an appointment becoming available.
